The challenge in this yard was the slope throughout the expansive yard. Using this slope, we were able to install a beautiful cascading natural water feature that would engross the paving stone patio.

The natural feel of stone selection along with the wood pergola gave a beautiful outdoor camping feel – something our clients really wanted. The final result was able to achieve not only a space for lounging with crashing water behind you but also an open green space that is more useable.

This West Hillhurst landscaping project started with making the Hot-Tub area a feature piece with the ability to use it in the colder months.

As the Design process evolved, we were able to create a beautiful composite deck for dining but also a step-up area specifically for the Hot-Tub. Adding the louvered roof pergola only enhanced intimacy and protected from rain/snow.

The Patio area was a beautiful integration of concrete and paving stones to create a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy as they have the water feature running in the background.

The Royal Oak homeowners had a simple back yard that already had a built-in natural retaining wall and wanted to incorporate a more friendly seating area to enjoy their yard more.

We discussed possibilities for shade and proposed a reciprocal pergola feature to give them a great focal point.

We also wanted to create a backdrop of a water feature to utilize the existing natural rock and create a unique lounging space.

The end result was a natural landscape that mimicked the ravines they backed on to while giving them ample space to entertain and mitigate slopes to allow for more open greenspace.

For this project, the home already had an existing deck made of stone with a hot tub on it. However, the stone was faded and needed to be revamped while the hot tub was exposed to the elements and had no privacy.

Our plan was to remove the deck and replace it with a composite decking (ensuring it lasted longer than the stone design) with a firepit and lounge area while building elements around the hot tub, particularly a louvred roof pergola.

We had electric shades installed into the pergola to provide immediate privacy to the homeowners, before removing the existing trampoline to allow more greenspace thanks to our artificial turf lawn.

This backyard in Downtown Calgary required a complete transformation, aiming to give it new life.

We created and built a composite deck with slick black rails which surrounded a unique lounge spot before a patch of artificial grass, which gave it a wonderful natural element.

To add a touch of serenity to the space, we added a miniature waterfall feature with a beautiful pond with outdoor lighting beneath the water to bring it to life at night. This was all layered across the newly-installed retaining wall.

The end result was a transformation that elevated the quality and curb appeal of the property and brought a smile to the homeowners.

With a fantastic view of the ravines in Bearspaw, the client wanted to create the perfect combination for it: an entertaining hotspot for family and friends. We knew that a complete redesign and remodel was required.

Firstly, we removed their existing deck before replacing it with a composite deck with a framed glass railing. Then, we installed a natural rock kootenay retaining wall, which led into a dry creek bed which was supported by a smooth concrete curbing fence. We finally added a L-Shaped cedar privacy screen, which covered a newly-installed custom outdoor BBQ set and firepit area.
